Specialty Pharmaceutical Company Brings Headquarters to Morristown

A publically traded pharmaceutical company formerly based in Houston, Texas, will now call Morristown home.

Pernix Therapeutics Holdings Inc. inked a contract to occupy more than 6,000-square-feet at 10 North Park Place, according to njbiz.com.

Initially, a dozen senior-level executives will work from the office, but the company said it expects to expand its staff by nearly double, the report says.

Pernix products include Silenor, a non-narcotic drug for treating insomnia, and Cedax, an antibiotic for middle ear infections, the report said.

10 North Park Place is located next to the Century 21 Department Store.
