Summit Resident Brought on as Corporate Law Partner at NJ Law Firm
Kapsimilas has served as general counsel and corporate attorney for global and local companies

Pamela M. Kapsimalis of Summit, a highly experienced general counsel and corporate attorney for local and global companies, has joined Schwartz, Simon, Edelstein & Celso in Whippany as a partner.
Kapsimalis handles all types of corporate and business matters, including sale and lease transactions, structuring and restructuring of businesses, commercial real estate matters, and franchise and financing transactions. She was brought in to help expand the corporate law department.
Most recently, she was the General Counsel for Preferred Freezer Services, LLC, at its corporate office in Chatham. Preferred Freezer Services is a privately held national and international cold-storage and shipping company with 35 facilities and more than 2,000 employees. Kapsimalis established its first in-house position to advise the company on warehouse, contract, corporate and commercial real estate matters.

Throughout her years of experience as both in-house and outside counsel, Kapsimalis advised a wide variety of clients, from startup ventures to large public companies. Her clients span a range of industries, including financial services, health care, wellness, product development and retail.
Before serving as general counsel at Preferred Freezer Service, she was Of Counsel with McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP in Morristown, representing international companies such as Montblanc North America LLC, Kate Spade LLC and others in expansion of retail stores throughout United States as well as guiding national franchisees affiliated with The Bar Method®.

Kapsimalis is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and Middlebury College.
