Superheroes Avenge Kids' Illnesses at Goryeb Children's Hospital (Photos)

Look up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a bunch of superheroes rappelling down the side of a children’s hospital in Morristown!

What better way to celebrate National Superhero Day - April 28 - then by using the powers of do-gooders to raise the spirits of those most defenseless?

That’s exactly what Atlantic Health System did on Tuesday at Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, as Spiderman, Superman, Captain America, Batman, and Wonder Woman all showed up to hang out with inpatient children to help lift their spirits.

Spiderman, Batman, and Captain America were among the heroes who helped themselves over the rooftop and onto the side of the building where children could see their favorite characters lowering themselves down to the entrance of the building.
