SUV Hits Morristown Pedestrian With Infant, Injuring Mother: Cops
The infant was unharmed but went with her mother to the hospital as a precaution.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — An SUV hit a pedestrian with a baby Tuesday afternoon on South Street, police said. The impact occurred after the vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler at South Park Place, according to authorities.
The pedestrian sustained a "significant" leg injury from the 12:40 p.m. crash. Onlookers, police and Atlantic Ambulance treated her on scene. The infant was unharmed but went to the hospital with her mother as a precaution.
Police did not publicly identify anyone involved.

It appeared that the Buick crossover-style SUV pulled into the travel lane from the parking stalls on the side of the road and had occupied an area designed only for one lane of traffic, police said. The right-turning tractor-trailer made contact with the Buick and, due to its momentum, pushed the SUV onto the corner, according to officials.
The pedestrian was waiting to cross South Street on the corner. The impact knocked the stroller to the ground, causing the infant to slide from the bassinet onto the sidewalk.
