Theatre on Screen at the Morris Museum
Season Launch, Sunday Sept 29th at 2:00PM with "The Tragedy of King Richard the Second"...Upcoming "42nd Street" and "Kinky Boots"
At the Morris Museum in Morristown, NJ, we're launching a new season of National Theatre Live, a broadcast filmed in front of a live theatre audience, with cameras carefully positioned to ensure you get the ‘best seat in the house’. Attendees will also experience some of the foremost talents from the UK in these world-class productions.
First up, is an encore broadcast of "The Tragedy of King Richard the Second" on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 2:00PM.
We will also be showing two extraordinary musical productions captured for the big screen direct from other London stages by Theatre on Screen – 42nd Street (October 13, 2019) and Kinky Boots (November 17, 2019). Additional screenings of other productions are scheduled monthly through March 2020.
For several productions, there will be a pre-show discussion and tea (for a small additional fee) with Dr. Fiona (Freddie) Harris, Assistant Professor of Humanities and English at Bloomfield College.
