Patch asked local parents whether they'll be OK with their kids not masking at school when it becomes optional. Here's what they said.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — March 7 can't come soon enough for some Greater Morristown parents, but others might not change a thing. That's when New Jersey will drop its mask mandate for K-12 schools.
Morristown and Morris Township-Morris Plains Patch asked parents whether they'll let their child attend school without a mask when they become optional. Here are some of the responses:
"The jury is still out, although the numbers are on a down swing folks are still dying," one commenter said. "It’s been this long another 2 months will not hurt the children to mask up. Enough is enough but I am not happy to sacrifice another child’s life."
