Tractor-Trailer Jackknifes In Overnight I-80 Crash

A sideswipe collision involving two tractor-trailers caused one of them to jackknife, authorities said.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A crash involving two tractor-trailers occurred in Morris County early Friday morning.

Around 1:30 a.m., police responded to a call of a crash on I-80 east at milepost 29 in Roxbury Township.

Authorities discovered that a sideswipe collision occurred between two separate tractor-trailers, causing one of them to jackknife.

No injuries were reported at the scene, and the crash remains under investigation.

Several lanes were initially closed for clean-up and have since reopened.
