MORRISTOWN, NJ — It appears President Donald Trump will be flying into Morristown Municipal Airport this coming weekend, to spend time at his New Jersey golf club. The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a VIP Movement Notification for the Bedminster and Morristown area from Friday, Aug. 2 through Sunday, Aug. 4.

His public schedule has not been released for the weekend yet and it is unclear what he will be doing at his Trump National Golf Course. His Friday schedule is typically released Thursday evening, and his Saturday and Sunday schedule is released Friday afternoon.

Specific flight instructions and restrictions will be available as it gets closer to the date. He usually flies into Morristown Airport and then takes a helicopter to his golf club, although he has flown into Newark Airport if coming from further away than Washington, D.C.

Along with flight restrictions, locals can also expect major delays or road closures during his travel times on Route 10, Route 24, and Route 287 around the airport and the golf club. Trump generally flies into Morristown just ahead of the rush hour.

This would be Trump's third visit to the golf course this summer. Trump's last visit to his golf club on July 19 to 21 was for a political fundraiser in support of his candidacy for the 2020 presidential election. During his visit he surprised a bride and groom getting married at the Trump National Golf Club. (See Related: Trump Crashes 'MAGA'-Themed Wedding In Bedminster: Video)
