Turkey Hill Dairy Recalls Dutch Premium Ice Cream in New Jersey

Select Dutch Chocolate Premium Ice Cream containers may contain Rocky Road Premium Ice Cream instead - which has almonds and eggs in it.

Chocolate ice cream lovers take note: Turkey Hill Dairy is recalling select 48 oz. containers of Dutch Premium Ice Cream because the packages may mistakenly have Rocky Road Premium Ice Cream inside them instead. The Rocky Road flavor contains almonds and eggs in it, so people with food allergies should proceed with caution.

The recalled Dutch Chocolate Premium Ice Cream was sold at select stores in 25 states, including New Jersey, according to an announcement from Turkey Hill Dairy. All stores have been asked to remove the containers from their shelves.

The faulty packages have a UPC code of 20735-42095 and a sell-by date of May 23, 2017, which is printed on the bottom of the containers. These containers would have been purchased in store after Sept. 8, 2016.
