Hosted by United Way Women United, the women’s only golf outing will raise funds to help ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) and poverty-level individuals and families in Morris, Somerset, Suburban Essex, Sussex and Warren counties. These essential workers were already struggling to afford the basics even before the pandemic hit.
“While the pandemic’s end seems to be in sight, for ALICE essential workers, the road to recovery will be a long one,” said Director, Women’s Philanthropy & Leadership Giving, Michele Dreiblatt. “By taking part in this Women United event, like-minded women can help us continue the important work of ensuring ALICE households aren’t left behind during the post-pandemic recovery.”

The outing will begin with registration at 7 a.m. followed by an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The $150 per person registration includes golf, continental breakfast, networking cocktail hour and luncheon.
To date, event sponsors include Platinum Sponsors Bentley Assisted Living at Branchville, Lakeland Bank, Selective and Thorlabs; Gold Sponsor First Hope Bank; and Silver Sponsor Nisivoccia LLP. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
