United Way of Northern New Jersey is pleased to announce five new members to its Board of Trustees: Ayo Badejo, Jaclyn Dimitriou, Jillian Kennedy, Lauren Barra Rourke and Marianne Szawaluk.

A partner at international law firm Sidley Austin LLP, Badejo represents public and private companies, private equity sponsors, funds, investors and individuals in a range of corporate transactions.
As director of S&P Dow Jones Indices, Dimitriou oversees the division’s content and digital syndication programs. She is responsible for augmenting S&P DJI’s brand and product awareness, overseeing lead generation and audience engagement initiatives and managing a $3 million digital advertising budget.

Kennedy is vice president at Goldman Sachs in the Global Markets Division. Her career with the global financial institution began when she was a college intern. During her eight years at the company, she has held various roles in operations and trading.
Rourke is a manager with The Bridgespan Group, a global nonprofit that collaborates with mission-driven organizations, philanthropists and investors. In her role, Rourke works with nonprofit clients including housing and homelessness organizations, child welfare and advocacy groups and women’s economic development firms.
Szawaluk is a managing director, operations executive and chief control officer for Corporate Responsibility at JPMorgan Chase & Co. During her more than 35 years at the company, Szawaluk has held a range of leadership positions in business and corporate functions.
“We look forward to working with our new members and the entire board to further our mission to help families we call ALICE and those in poverty who are struggling to afford the basics,” United Way CEO Kiran Handa Gaudioso said. “With this talented group of leaders, we can make greater strides in impacting the lives of ALICE essential workers throughout our five-county region.”
