Villa Walsh Teacher, Nun of 74 Years Dies at 93
Sister Mary Fattorusso was a teacher and enjoyed sewing.

Sister Mary Fattorusso, MPF, spent most of her life serving God and serving others.
The nun died Sunday at the age of 93, according to her obituary.
Sister Mary was born in Newark, New Jersey and entered the Religious Teachers Filippini in 1935, subsequently receiving the habit in 1937. She made her religious profession in 1940.

Sister Mary taught in junior high schools in Hammonton, Trenton, Connecticut, Newark, and Jersey City. She retired at Villa Walsh in 2007.
She was also a pastoral minister in a variety of locations between Connecticut and Rhode Island.

As a resident of Saint Joseph Hall in her final years, Sister Mary kept herself busy crafting items for the Sistersā annual Christmas Sale.
