VNA of Northern NJ to Acquire Home Care Assets from Prime-Saint Clare’s

MORRISTOWN, NJ and DENVILLE, NJ, May 16, 2017 -- Visiting Nurse Association of Northern New Jersey (VNA of Northern NJ) and Prime Healthcare Services – Saint Clare’s have signed an agreement pursuant to which the VNA of Northern NJ will acquire certain assets of the home care business operated by Prime as Visiting Nurse Association of Saint Clare’s in Sussex and Warren Counties, New Jersey (VNA of Saint Clare’s). The VNA of Northern NJ looks forward to expanding its presence in Northern New Jersey and furthering its partnership with the Prime Healthcare Services community of dedicated physicians, nurses and employees. Both organizations have a long history of serving residents of Northern New Jersey.

The closing under the agreement is pending certain consents and contingencies, including governmental approvals, which the parties anticipate will be successfully completed by late summer or early fall. Until the transaction closes Prime Healthcare Services – Saint Clare’s will continue to operate the home health entity, VNA of Saint Clare’s. After the transaction closes, VNA of Northern NJ will take over all home health services in Sussex and Warren counties.
