Washington Township Recreation Announces Spring Pickleball Programs
Residents can register for upcoming pickleball programs through Washington Township Recreation.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Washington Township Recreation and TJD Sports Academy are collaborating to offer spring pickleball programs. These programs are designed for players of all skill levels. Participants can choose from three different skill tiers.
Spring sessions will take place at the Rock Spring Park Tennis Courts in Long Valley. Five weeks of progressive instruction are scheduled to begin in mid-April. Options are available for Thursday or Saturday mornings, and built-in rain dates will ensure full court time for participants.
Thursday sessions will run from April 16 to May 14, with a rain date of May 21. The Newbie & Advanced Beginner level will meet from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday sessions are scheduled from April 18 to May 16, with a rain date of May 22. The Low Intermediate level will meet from 9 to 10 a.m., and the High Intermediate level will meet from 10 to 11 am.

The Newbie & Advanced Beginner program focuses on essential skills, core techniques, and foundational strategies. The Low Intermediate group will reinforce fundamentals while learning smarter shot selection and improved consistency. The High Intermediate level emphasizes faster rallies, advanced tactics, and competitive-style drills.
The nonrefundable fee is due by April 13. Early sign-up is encouraged due to limited space.
