Winter Swimming? Should my child take swim lessons?
It's cold out - should my child be taking swimming lessons in the winter? Won't they get sick?

Our swim lesson company gets asked this question every year. We want to encourage families to think a different way about taking lessons in the winter, and the benefits to their students by taking lessons when most people are taking a break.
As the weather starts to get colder - which in our case is much later this year than in the past. We have been blessed with warm days through the end of 2015, but 2016 has started to see some colder days where do we really want to get in the pool and learn to swim? We want to share this article that we share regularly about the benefits to swimming in the winter. Think of the lack of activities you have for your children in the winter, and the multitude of activities you have once the weather gets warmer. This is the prime time to get your children started in lessons even though it is cold outside. We hope you enjoy this article!
