Woman's Club Denville-Rockaway Area Volunteer at ReStore

4th Year of MLK Day of Service at Morris Habitat for Humanity

GFWC Woman’s Club Denville/Rockaway Day of Service Volunteers

On January 15, several members of the GFWC Woman’s Club Denville-Rockaway area participated in a “Day of Service” in honor of Rev. Martin Luther King. 2018 marks the fourth year the Club has volunteered at Morris Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore in Randolph. This year, the members assembled and priced lamps, hung art work, sorted rug squares and glassware. All these activities help the ReStore get merchandise ready to sell to the general public. Proceeds from the ReStore, allow Morris Habitat to purchase materials to build affordable homes for local families in need.

This “Day of Service” is just one of the many ways the Woman’s Club gives back to the community. The GFWC Woman’s Club of the Denville-Rockaway area, founded in 1932 is a non-profit community service organization, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others, one project at a time.
