• A Stray Kitten Survived a 800-Mile Road Trip Stuck in a Car (983thecoast.com) — A Mount Laurel college student's back-to-school drive to the University of Georgia turned into an unexpected rescue when she discovered a kitten trapped under her car after the 800-mile trip. Campus police and a local repair shop carefully freed the cat, refused payment, and the now-healthy kitten, named Jersey, is being prepared for adoption through a rescue group.
