“In response to recent data that shows Black and Hispanic people are among the hardest-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and less represented in testing and vaccinations, Choose Healthy Life - Team Newark is bringing the city together to get tested and vaccinated. With healthy living and community fun at the forefront, this event will emphasize the connection between healthy living and having a healthy planet by showcasing a fleet of 2022 electric cars provided by GreenFaith.org, an interfaith coalition that helps communities set an environmental example through energy conversation and public outreach. Music by Corey Anderson, along with community resources, and opportunities to learn about job opportunities will also be available.”
