$1M Powerball Lottery Ticket Sold In Newark (See Lucky Numbers)

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A million-dollar Powerball lottery ticket was recently sold in Newark, New Jersey, officials announced Thursday.

According to the New Jersey Lottery, a store in Newark sold a ticket that matched five of the five white balls drawn for the drawing on Wednesday, Sept. 18, winning a $1 million second-tier prize.

The ticket was sold at Variedades Ecualatinas on Ferry Street.

The winning numbers for the Sept. 18 drawing were: 01, 11, 22, 47 and 68. The Red Power Ball number was 07. The Power Play was 4X.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $195 million for the drawing on Saturday, Sept. 21, officials noted.

DOUBLE PLAY

The Double Play drawing is an additional drawing for players who opted-in to the Double Play feature on their tickets.

The Double Play drawing results for the Sept. 18,drawing were: 16, 23, 50, 53 and 66. The Double Play Ball number was 14.
