NEWARK, NJ — A pair of guns were confiscated from passengers’ belongings in a four-day span at Newark Airport, according to TSA officials.

A TSA spokesperson said that an East Orange man was arrested at the busy airport Thursday night after officers found a loaded 9 mm handgun in his backpack.

On the morning of April 1, a Bucks County, Pennsylvania resident was arrested at Newark Airport after officers found him with a .45 caliber handgun in his carry-on bag, the TSA stated.
