2 Dead After ‘Apparent Murder-Suicide’ In Essex County: Authorities
The deceased, ages 31 and 29, were pronounced dead at the scene, Essex County prosecutors said.
IRVINGTON, NJ — A police probe into an “apparent murder-suicide” that claimed two lives in Irvington on Thursday continues, authorities said.
Irvington police made a welfare check at a home on Adams Street during the predawn hours, where they found Daquasha Jackson, 31, Dane Lawrence, 29, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene at 3:53 a.m., according to a joint statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Irvington Police Department.
“The preliminary investigation indicates it was likely a murder/suicide,” authorities said.
