2 Essex County Students Will Attend Prestigious Military Schools
Donald Payne Jr. nominated the students, who attend school in Newark and Maplewood. They will attend the U.S. Naval and Air Force academies.
ESSEX COUNTY — A New Jersey congressman who represents several towns in Essex County recently gave a hearty congratulations to two local students who will be attending the U.S. Naval Academy and the U.S. Air Force Academy.
U.S. Rep. Donald Payne Jr. (D-10) gave a shout out to William Register of Hillside, who attends St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, and Jonathan Barnett, a student at Columbia High School in Maplewood. Payne offered nominations for both of them.
New Jersey’s recently redrawn 10th Congressional district includes the following municipalities:
