And two women were critically hurt Sunday after they were hit by a vehicle who fled the scene, Newark police told nj.com.
In South Jersey, a man was driving his vehicle on North Wolfert Station Road in East Greenwich Township around 6:45 p.m. Saturday when he went off the road and crashed, according to nj.com. The man was identified as 44-year-old from the Mickleton section of the township.

In Newark, the accident happened around 2 a.m. Sunday on Verona Avenue and Broadway in Newark, according to nj.com. The driver fled east on Verona Avenue toward Route 21, police said.

On Interstate 80, Marc DiRaimo of Meadville, Pa. pulled over to the side of the highway at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday in Mount Olive, police said, when he was struck.

A pickup truck struck DiRaimo as he got out of his Ford F-150 truck, police said.
DiRaimo was pronounced dead at 2:15 p.m. at St. Clare's Dover Hospital, police said.
