IRVINGTON, NJ — Voters in Irvington went to the polls on Tuesday to elect new members of the town council. Although the results aren't official yet, it appears that the four incumbent candidates have each won their respective races.

Here are the latest results for the 2024 nonpartisan municipal election in Irvington, according to the Essex County Clerk's office. NOTE: The results remain uncertified as of Wednesday.

NORTH WARD (Vote for one)

With all districts reported, it appears that Orlander Glen Vick has captured a seat on the council in the North Ward.

  • Yasmin Jones - 97 votes (19.68%)
  • Orlander Glen Vick - 396 votes (80.32%)

EAST WARD (Vote for one)

With all districts reported, it appears that October Hudley has captured a seat on the council in the East Ward.

  • October Hudley - 253 votes (61.56%)
  • Yasmina King - 158 votes (38.44%)

SOUTH WARD (Vote for one)

With all districts reported, it appears that Jamillah Z. Beasley has captured a seat on the council in the South Ward.

  • Jamillah Z. Beasley - 376 votes (93.30%)
  • Danouchka Desir - 27 votes (6.70%)

WEST WARD (Vote for one)

  • Vern Cox ran unopposed in the town's West Ward
