3-Mile Oil Spill In Newark Causes Traffic Delays: Police
A large oil spill is expected to affect traffic in the Ironbound section of Newark, authorities said.

NEWARK, NJ — A large oil spill is expected to affect traffic in the Ironbound section of Newark on Tuesday evening, authorities said.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, the three-mile spill is affecting the following streets:
- Stockton and Delancey streets
- Adams and Thomas streets
- Wilson Avenue
Drivers were advised to expect delays and to plan alternate routes. No additional information was immediately available.
