3 Run Unopposed In Irvington School Election: See Results For Public Question
Irvington residents went to the polls to vote in the 2026 school election.

IRVINGTON, NJ — Irvington residents went to the polls Tuesday to vote in the 2026 school election.
Three people ran unopposed for the board of education. Terms last for three years. The candidates were Jordan Geffrard, Syesha Benbow, and Audrey Lyon.

Voters also cast yes or no ballots for the annual school budget. The question read: "Resolved, that there should be raised for general funds $17,459,529 for the ensuing school year (2026-2027)."
With 97.06 percent of districts reported, it appears that the question has passed by a large margin. Here are the latest unofficial results from the Essex County Clerk’s Office:

- YES– 485 votes (79.64%)
- NO – 124 votes (20.36%)
