36-Year-Old Man Stabbed To Death In Newark: Authorities

A Newark man was fatally stabbed on Sunday morning, prosecutors said.

NEWARK, NJ — A 36-year-old Newark man was stabbed to death on Sunday morning, authorities said.

According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Victorino Garcia, 36, of Newark, was stabbed near the 100-block of Taylor Street at 2:41 a.m.

Garcia was pronounced dead at University Hospital at 3:31 a.m., prosecutors said.
