4 Teens Shot In Newark, 1 In ‘Critical Condition’: Police

A teen is in critical condition and three others were wounded in a quadruple shooting that took place in Newark, authorities said.

NEWARK, NJ — A teen is in critical condition and three others were wounded in a quadruple shooting that took place in Newark on Sunday night, authorities said.

Police responded to the 700-block of Broadway at 7:11 p.m. after getting a call about a shooting, according to Interim Newark Public Safety Director Raul Malave.

Emergency responders transported four victims to University Hospital. A 15-year-old is in “critical condition,” a 17-year-old is “stable” and two 14-year-old victims were “grazed,” police said Monday.
