WHY GO: Ribbon cutting for the first bike shop/bike exchange in Newark. The exchange receives donated bicycles and then reconditions and sells the bikes at affordable prices.

WHERE: Branch Brook Park Roller Skating Center
WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 17, 3-6 p.m.
WHY GO: Games, contests and prizes. Every child will receive school supplies.
COST: $3 per child; $3.75 skate rental

WHY GO: The county clerk comes to you. During these outreach times, the clerk will process only new passports, notary public oaths, veterans peddler licenses, and physicians license filings.

WHY GO: Jeremy Filsell is one of the few virtuoso performers on both the organ and piano. Presently, Nigel Potts is organist and choirmaster of Christ and Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Church in New York City.

Newark Bears are looking for volunteers for the first annual Newark Bears Stadium of Screams Halloween Bash.
