MEMORIAL BENCH
After the meeting, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held to unveil a memorial bench in honor of late PVSC member and Newark councilwoman Mildred Crump.
Located in the PVSC administration building courtyard, the bench will serve as a lasting tribute to Crump’s legacy of “public service, leadership and tireless advocacy,” spokespeople said.
Crump served on the PVSC board from 2015 to 2023.
