NEWARK, NJ — A car wash company is expanding its presence in Newark with a new location in the Ironbound.
Zap Car Wash recently announced that it plans to launch its first "express-exterior car wash" in the city, reviving the currently shuttered Skyway Car Wash site at 203–221 Raymond Boulevard. Learn more about this local business here.
"We've been washing Newark's cars since 1991, and bringing Zap to the Ironbound has been a long time coming," said Barak Taub, president of Zap Car Wash.
Zap Car Wash said it plans to hire between seven and 15 people at the new location. Applicants can email info@zapcarcare.com for more details.
An exact opening date will be announced in the coming weeks.
The company operates two other Newark locations: one downtown, and one on South Broad Street.
