NEWARK, NJ — Three people were hospitalized after a shooting in Newark on Thursday night, authorities say.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, officers responded to South 11th Street near Clinton Avenue at 7:03 p.m. after getting a call about a shooting in the area.
Officers found three men with gunshot wounds at the scene. The victims were transported to University Hospital for treatment. Each is reportedly in stable condition, police said Friday.
An investigation into the shooting continues, authorities said. No additional details were immediately available.
