Back-To-Back Winning Lottery Tickets Sold In Newark
A Newark store sold a $150K Jersey Cash 5 ticket for Friday's drawing. The next day, another big winner hit the jackpot in the Brick City.
NEWARK, NJ — Newark saw back-to-back winning tickets for the Jersey Cash 5 lottery on Friday and Saturday, officials said.
According to the New Jersey Lottery, a ticket sold at Norfolk Grocery on Norfolk Street in Newark matched all five numbers drawn for the Friday, Feb. 28 drawing, capturing a $150,945 jackpot.
The winning numbers were 11, 22, 27, 29 and 38 and the XTRA number was: 02.

Lottery officials said another winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket was sold at Popular Super Deli on 4th Avenue in Newark for the Saturday, Feb. 29 drawing, capturing a $62,894 jackpot.
The winning numbers were: 07, 16, 21, 37 and 41 and the XTRA number was: 02.
