Becoming A Homeowner In Newark: Workshop Will Reach Out To Section 8 Renters

In celebration of National Homeownership Month this June, NACA, the nation’s largest HUD-approved nonprofit homeownership and advocacy organization, in partnership with the Newark Housing Authority, will host a special two-day Homeownership Event on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14 beginning at 8:00 a.m. at The Waterfront, 2 Grafton Avenue, Newark, NJ, 07104, designed to help individuals and families on Section 8 Housing transition from renting to homeownership.

NACA’s Best in America Mortgage Features:

• Below-market, fixed interest rates (30-year fixed mortgage rate is 5.75% as of June 9, 2026).

Unlike traditional mortgage programs, NACA does not consider credit scores.
