Boys To Leaders: Latino Youth Leadership Conference In Newark
The Boys to Leaders Foundation will host their 7th annual Latino Youth Leadership Conference at Rutgers University – Newark.

The Boys to Leaders Foundation will host their seventh annual Latino Youth Leadership Conference on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rutgers University – Newark in the Paul Robeson Campus Center located at 350 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The conference is entitled, "Live in the Now; Look Toward the Future," and the keynote speaker is Carlos Lejnieks, president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Essex, Hudson and Union Counties.
The annual youth conference is specifically designed for male students ranging from ages 14 to 20, and is geared towards promoting a culture of leadership and communication skills which are fundamental to achieving personal development and professional success. Attendees will be able to participate in educational workshops and meet prominent community leaders who offer hope, inspiration and guidance. The conference will consist of workshops on topics such as “Showing up for Greatness” by Monarca Style, Finding Your Voice, FAFSA Workshop, Social Issues in College, Parent Workshop on College Readiness sponsored by NJ Gear UP and Trio Upward Bound and our signature workshop L.E.A.D. by Thomas Owens, executive director - Newark Mentoring Movement.

Boys to Leaders Foundation is a nonprofit 501c3 organization whose mission is to empower, motivate and inspire young men by providing leadership training, educational programs, personal and professional development.
