Port Authority officials confirmed Thursday afternoon that a bomb threat was reported on an inbound Newark Liberty International Airport jet.
Joseph Pentangelo, a Port Authority spokesman, said the plane was a United flight 1965 from Orlando.
UPDATE: The plane landed around 1:45 p.m. but was not evacuated. The threat was determined to be "not credible," Pentangelo said.

Reports show that the Port Authority, which operates the airport, was preparing for its arrival with K-9 units.
