NEWARK, NJ — A “Good Samaritan” recently helped to save the life of a stabbing victim in Newark, authorities announced Tuesday.
Police responded to the 900-block of Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard around 9 p.m. on Feb. 13 after getting a call about a potentially injured person, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Before officers got to the scene, a bystander transported the wounded man to a nearby hospital in their own vehicle, police said.
