Newark’s Forest Hill historic district is proud to host it’s 6th celebration of community arts on Saturday, September 20th, (rain date Saturday, the 27th) KidsFest 11am-12pm and PorchFest 12-6pm. Organized by the Forest Hill Community Association, our FREE family-friendly event will have a variety of artists (both performing and visual) showcasing their talents. Residents will make their porches available to serve as community stages to accommodate the artists. The entertainment will kickoff at 11am with KidsFest, an hour of kid-friendly activities and entertainment featuring a wonderful performance by members of the NJ SYMPHONY. At 12pm PorchFest begins where attendees will be invited to visit the stages across the neighborhood as well as enjoy an array of food trucks. Come for an afternoon of entertainment, food, and fun.
