Car Stolen In Newark, Used In Armed Robberies In Several NJ Cities: PD
Newark police said the car was used in "multiple armed robberies in several cities."
NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are trying to locate a stolen vehicle that was allegedly used in armed robberies across North Jersey on Tuesday.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, two men stole a silver 2018 Hyundai Sonata from the 70-block of Renner Avenue around 4 p.m. The vehicle was spotted later that day at multiple armed robberies that took place in several cities.
Information about what cities the armed robberies took place in was not immediately available, authorities told Patch.

Police released photos of the vehicle, which can be seen below (license plate NJ 88MHS).
Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website or its smartphone app.
