Chance Of Weekend Rain In Newark, Forecast Says (Here’s When)

NEWARK, NJ — Weather forecasters say there may be a chance of rain showers in Newark this weekend, and partly sunny and cloudy skies otherwise.

According to the National Weather Service’s most recent prediction, there is a 20 percent chance of rain showers on Saturday, and a forecast of “partly sunny” and “partly cloudy” skies for Sunday.

Here’s the local forecast for Newark this weekend, via the NWS:

Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 73. East wind around 8 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Southeast wind 3 to 6 mph.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 68. Northeast wind around 6 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. Southeast wind 3 to 6 mph.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 73. Northeast wind around 7 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 55.
