Classical Candlelight Concert In Newark Will Feature Halloween Hits
It's classical music … spooky style. Come listen to some of your favorite TV and pop tunes, illuminated by thousands of candles.

NEWARK, NJ — It’s classical music … spooky style.
Live entertainment company Fever will be bringing its “Candlelight Concerts” series to Newark Symphony Hall for two performances on Saturday, Oct. 28 (at 6 and 8:30 p.m.) Learn more and purchase tickets here.

“Newark Symphony Hall’s Terrace Ballroom will be illuminated by thousands of candles, allowing viewers to fully immerse themselves in Halloween exclusive musical programs featuring classical movie soundtracks for the season. From The Addams Family and Beetlejuice to Ghostbusters, The Exorcist, Thriller and many more, Candlelight concerts’ haunted evenings will chill fans to their core with their favorite soundtracks.”
The tentative song list includes:

- Funeral March of a Marionette - Charles Gounod
- String Quartet No. 8 in C Minor (Dresden Quartet), Op. 110: II. Allegro Molto - Dmitri Shostakovich
- Tubular Bells (Theme from The Exorcist) - Mike Oldfield
- Stranger Things (Theme) - S U R V I V E
- Beetlejuice (Theme) - Danny Elfman
- The Addams Family (Theme) - Vic Mizzy
- Halloween (Theme) - John Carpenter
