“Come out and have some fun while learning how to reduce violence in our community. We have a professional skater and a coach to teach beginners to get up and go during the event. There will be loaner roller skates, refreshments, and some great music. All abilities are welcome; bring your family, friends, and coworkers for this fun event, and help spread peace in our community. This is a great chance to decrease stress, increase physical activity, and help promote peace.”
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, organizers said. People should bring skates, socks and helmets (for children). There will be refreshments and music.
The public is welcome at the event, which is open to skaters of all abilities.
