Cory Booker Gets $10M In Campaign Donations After Record-Setting 'Filibuster': Report

More than 200,000 donors – with many contributing $25 or less – helped push the New Jersey senator to a record-high fundraising haul.

NEWARK, NJ — The gift of gab has apparently paid off for U.S. Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey.

Booker has raised $10 million during the second quarter of 2025, including $9 million gained through his Senate campaign and several hundred thousand dollars through an affiliated joint fundraising committee, NBC News reported Friday.

The fundraising haul – which came from more than 200,000 unique donors (with many contributing $25 or less) – is the highest total that the Democratic lawmaker has ever raised in a single quarter, NBC News reported.

In April, Booker spoke on the Senate floor for more than 25 hours, a marathon speech that is now the new benchmark for any lawmaker who wants to make a Mr. Smith-style stand in Washington D.C.
