Devils Get Assist from Newest Partner, Launch ‘Primepoint Lounge'
New Jersey-based payroll processing and HR management company becomes latest company to partner with the Devils community efforts

NEWARK, NJ – In a special ribbon cutting ceremony, the New Jersey Devils and Primepoint HRMS & Payroll celebrated a strategic alliance before Thursday night’s home 4-3 overtime win against the Washington Capitals. The announcement was made at the Prudential Center’s latest arena addition, the ‘Primepoint Lounge,’ a brand new 2,622-square-foot premium event space located on the suite level with executives from both organizations present as well as Devils alumni
The hockey club’s multi-year agreement with the New Jersey-based payroll processing and human resources management company aligns with the Devils’ commitment to community engagement as the arrangement also designates to giving back to those in need.
Through the partnership’s marquee activation, “Devils Assist Leaders, presented by Primepoint,” the New Jersey-based payroll processing and human resources management company will distribute a donation of $25 to select New Jersey ARCs for every Devils’ assist made during the 2017-18 season, up to $10,000. The Arc is the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

“I didn’t think that there would be anything that we could do to root for us (to score) more,” suggested Adam Davis, Chief Revenue Officer of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment and New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center. “But now, the fact that we’re scoring goals and racking up assists help make a difference in the community, I think it’s great. Giving back for us is such a big thing – it’s part of our mantra and working with our partners to help support that mission is the greatest thing in the world.”
Davis says the latest partnership is consistent with the vision the Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment Group had when they assumed ownership of the team over four years ago and that is to ‘unify the New Jersey community.’

Primepoint joins a roster of local partners that is dedicated to supporting those community efforts.
“Our roots go deep into New Jersey and we work closely with a lot of local businesses,” Alex Bothwell, Primepoint’s Chief Executive Officer said. “The assists program is something that we look forward to in giving back to the community.”
Primepoint will receive exposure for its “Devils Assist Leaders, presented by Primepoint” program on Devils’ and Prudential Center’s digital and social platforms, as well as in-game exposure on digital concourse boards, exterior LED billboards, internal LED boards and the arena’s four-story tall Trans-Lux scoreboard, the largest in-arena scoreboard in the world.
“One of the components that attracted us to the Prudential Center is that there is a lot of diversity here,” Bothwell added. “We’re really excited to be in the sports and entertainment space – we want to be where there is passion. We look forward to hosting many premium events in Prudential Center’s new Primepoint Lounge, which we are confident will become a preeminent destination for both VIP celebrations and business gatherings.”
