Double Fatal Crash As Car Hits House, 2 Poles In Newark: Cops
The vehicle was completely dismanted in the NJ crash, prosecutors said.
Two people were killed after a driver hit a parked car, then a house, and then two light poles in New Jersey early Friday, according to police.
Newark police confirmed to Patch that two people were entrapped and pronounced dead at the scene. Two cars apparently collided in the crash.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office confirmed to News12 that it happened around 5:23 a.m. at Bergen Street and Madison Avenue.

A witness described to News12 what happened: “I'm in the bed asleep and you heard the biggest boom, and it was loud and then I jumped up and looked out the window and all you see is this car smashed into the building, and people screaming 'get him out the car, get him out the car. I've never seen an accident ever this bad."
