Essex County Cops Deliver Toys To Kids Across The Region
The officers visited schools, churches, pantries, domestic violence victims' shelters and homeless shelters to spread some holiday cheer.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Police officers with the Essex County Sheriff’s Office recently delivered a huge payload of presents to children in need during their annual holiday toy drive.
On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office loaded multiple vehicles and delivered hundreds of toys to local schools, churches, pantries, domestic violence victims’ shelters and homeless shelters throughout the county.
In addition to providing toys to disadvantaged children in the Essex County community, the officers also handed out coats to students at La Casa de Don Pedro, Fourteenth Avenue Elementary School and other local community sites.
