Essex County Cops Offer $5,000 Reward To Catch Teen's Killers

The Essex County Sheriff’s Crimestoppers Program is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder of Yusef Perez, 17, of Newark.

According to authorities, on July 6, Perez’s body was discovered in the rear of 140 Littleton Avenue in Newark.

At the time Perez was a missing person. He was last seen in the company of an unidentified male on July 2, at approximately 9:45 p.m. in the area of Littleton Avenue and 12th Street.

Perez was a resident of the Georgia King Village in Newark.
