Essex County Courts To Hold ‘Judiciary Career Fair’

Court representatives will be available to discuss career opportunities. Participants can apply for these positions on-site.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — The Essex Vicinage will host a judiciary career fair on Wednesday, March 23 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Leroy Smith Public Safety Building, 60 Nelson Place, 14th floor, Newark.

Court representatives will be available to discuss career opportunities in the following areas: court administration, case management, interpreting, operations, finance, human resources, information technology, and management. Participants can apply for these positions on-site. Volunteer, internships, and bilingual opportunities also are available.

According to court administrators, employment benefits include comprehensive health benefits, pension, deferred compensation, extensive training programs, flexible spending accounts, a college savings program, generous leave time, and a public service loan forgiveness program.

Registration is required due to limited space. Sponsored by the Essex Vicinage, the career fair is free and open to the public.
