ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Essex County College, in partnership with 11 area companies searching for candidates to fill full and part-time positions, will host a Fall Job Fair on Thursday, Oct. 18.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the college’s 4th floor multipurpose room at 303 University Avenue in Newark, school administrators said.
“We are very excited to continue our outreach to Essex students and the community at large as we work to provide employment opportunities,” said Mitra Choudhury, Director of the College’s Training Inc. program. “We certainly hope to continue offering these employment opportunities in the coming months. I personally hope our students will take advantage of this job fair right on our campus.”

Registration is required to attend the event and can be done online here.
According to a news release from organizers, companies looking to fill positions at the job fair will include Amazon, Clara Maass Medical Center/RWJ Barnabas Health, Cosmopolitan Medical Staffing Solutions, Daughters of Israel, East Orange General Hospital, FedEx Express, Gateway Group One, Newark Community Health Centers, Inc., Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, NJ Transit and Tiffany & Co.

This is the second job fair this year in which the College’s Training, Inc. has partnered with multiple area employers, school administrators said.
