A series of public workshops in Newark will help local tenants facing eviction, officials say. Here's when and where they'll take place.
NEWARK, NJ — A series of public workshops in Newark will help local tenants facing eviction to learn about their rights and available resources, officials say.
The City of Newark shared a social media post with the following dates and places for the seminars (all events take place on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.):
- Nov. 21 – St. Stephan’s Church, 8 Wilson Avenue
- Nov. 28 – Vince Lombardi Center of Hope, 201 Bloomfield Avenue
- Dec. 5 – Congregational Baptist Church, 399 Bergen Street
- Dec. 12 – Jehovah-Jireh Praise and Worship Church Center, 505 South 15th Street
- Dec. 19 – NJ Reentry Center, 936-938 Bergen Street
